We are excited to announce the launch of the Home Energy Career Training Program in partnership with Xcel Energy and the Center for Energy and Environment. This program is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in the fast-growing energy sector.
Program Highlights:
Job Placement Assistance: Opportunities to secure positions with starting wages between $19 to $25 per hour.
Energy Auditor: Learn the basics of building science, home energy audits, and safety guidelines.
Insulation Installer: Receive installation training from industry experts.
Paid Training and Internship:
2-week paid training with a stipend of $550 per week.
Additional 1-week hands-on training, totaling a $2,750 stipend.
16-week paid internship with wages starting at $18 per hour.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license (or in the process of obtaining one).
