Job Placement Program
Community Grassroots Solutions helps Somali refugees in the St. Cloud Area who are unemployed. We seek to see everyone in the community thrive, which is why we assist through helping Somali-Americans create resumes for their prospective job.
Academic Support & Mentoring Program
The Academic Support Program pulls together resources that address the learning needs of refugee students in the St. Cloud area. We partner with several organizations and people in the community, such as: School District 742, and St. Cloud State University, United Way of Central Minnesota, and local community leaders.
The Mentoring Program combines tutoring and mentoring activities that enhances the academic achievement and self-esteem of the students. It also gives refugee students the opportunity to look up to themselves and feel more accepted by their peers and to be successful in their future goals.
